Abstract
This article presents the findings of a study conducted in 2015 with a group of employees from a cooperative regarding their perceptions on organizational climate. This research highlights such perceptions obtained from the evaluation of different variables and proposes a set of strategies to improve the organizational climate as an essential asset in the management of human resources. This strategy regards working environment and motivation as fundamental elements in employees' performance and therefore, in companies' productivity. Both, employees' perceptions of their working environment and their motivation directly affects in their performance. The evaluation, analysis and monitoring of the organizational climate of a company will allow the manager to detect aspects that influence positively or negatively on it, predict and provide solutions to problems that may affect the future and development of the company.
