Abstract

Azerbaijan has rich literary connections with Balkan Turks, Bulgaria, Western Thrace and Macedonian Turks. Bulgaria has a rich literary-cultural heritage of Bulgarian Turks, second only to the Bulgarian people and second to ethnic, linguistic and religious groups. This national-spiritual richness has been the exceptional role of the Azerbaijani people in the formation and development of literary heritage. Stalin's training of Turkish schools to raise the level of education of Turks, educators, writers, culture workers sent by Azerbaijan, Bulgarian Turks were on the way of science and culture. In 1975, Nusret Denton, a Turkish poet in Macedonia (former Yugoslavia), is known as the "Turkom" poem as the symbol of Azerbaijani-Balkan literary relations. During the period of violent prohibition of the Soviet regime, the poet showed great courage in the socialist country, and he favored the unanimity of the Turkish peoples. Azerbaijan-Western Thrace literary relations have a certain history. After acquiring Azerbaijan national independence and possessing Turkish identity, Azerbaijani-Western Thrace associations are entering a new stage of development. At the beginning of the 90's it is possible for Azerbaijani researchers and poets to read books on about Western Thrace literature. Azerbaijani-Balkan literary relations are developing with greater perseverance today, and as a representative of the Turkish union, we are introducing our national-historical existence all over the world.
