Abstract
Given the increasing demand of seismic exploration for more detailed seismic study of the deep structure of the Earth, as well as the transition to 3D-observations, it is necessary to have significant computing resources to process data, in particular, to perform pre-stack migration procedures and modeling of the wave field. Multi-processor clusters are used to increase the calculation power of the computer. It is necessary to develop special software which provides parallelizing of calculation on several processors. The authors offer algorithms of pre-stack finite-difference migration and modeling of the wave field with parallelizing of calculation on a predeterminednumber of processors. The efficiency of the developed software is demonstrated on a model and practical examples.
