Abstract

It is necessary to all building have designed by using the standard codes provision given by authorities. But In the last some decades codes are changed with time to time. And buildings are already designed before the codes changed. Therefore it is mismanage to stable condition situation against new codes provisions for building which are constructed before standard codes change. So this study is providing the analysis for which buildings are already constructed and after that check the building members against seismic failure. This Research paper gives The IO, LS, CP limits by the color formation of the hinges after analyze the model. The target displacement equation which is described in FEMA 356 is calculated by ETABS software and gives the value for all constant parameters of the building model for calculate the target displacement equation.
