Coronavirus pandemic and the state of small business in Azerbaijan's tourism sector

Abstract
The article describes the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs, especially small businesses, in the tourism sector of Azerbaijan during the coronavirus pandemic, as well as support measures taken by the state to minimize losses in this situation. At the same time, the scale of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on global GDP, analysis of statistics of the most affected tourism sector, support packages for entrepreneurs in the tourism sector in foreign practice, easier monetary policy are studied and proposals for the development of tourism in Azerbaijan are put forward. The article focuses on the development of domestic tourism after the post-pandemic period, ensuring the accessibility of Karabakh for such enterprises as tourist destinations, cultural tourism, rural tourism, agritourism as the main direction of sustainable economic development. The importance of tourism as the second main source of income after energy production in the non-oil sector and constantly growing government support are emphasized
