Improving the efficiency of the application of quality management systems in business

The main purpose of the study is to identify similarities and differrences between the newly applied version of the international standard ISO 9001 and other applied versions. It also identifies a new methodology for measuring the risks required in the latest updated version of the standard, ISO 9001: 2015. As a result of the study, it is proposed to apply the Lean and Six Sigma methodology to improve processes in order to increase the efficiency of the application of quality management systems in commercial enterprises. The practical significance of the study is characterized by the possibility of applying international standards in business societies required by quality systems in modern conditions. Scientific novelty and originality of the researchis that new mechanisms of effective application in business have been identified. ISO 9001: 2015 as an improved version of the standard is applied in business organizations.
