Organizational-Economic Maintenance of Chinese Language Teaching in the Educational Institutions of Ukraine

Abstract
The scientific article presents results of a study of organizational and economic support of Chinese language teaching in higher educational institutions of Ukraine. The relevance of the study is due to the fact of the growing interest to learning the Chinese language among higher educational institutions students. However, now not everyone can study the Chinese language at a high level. Not all higher education institutions of Ukraine, including philological, provide services for the study of the Chinese language. Confucius Institutes are functioning only in 4 regional centers of Ukraine and do not operate in 21 regional center. The purpose of the article is a statement of issues of organizational and economic support of the Chinese language teaching in higher educational institutions of Ukraine, as well as the development of recommendations on resource accessibility of the Chinese language in higher educational institutions of Ukraine. The legal base for the study of foreign languages (including Chinese) in higher educational institutions of Ukraine has been analyzed in the scientific article. Possibilities of Chinese language teaching in higher educational institutions of Ukraine have been described. The results of the expert survey on the problems of learning Chinese by university students have been listed. The economic support for the teaching of Chinese language in higher educational institutions of Ukraine has been assessed. Ukrainian universities do not have sufficient organizational and economic resources for a broad teaching of the Chinese language, even though there is a demand on the part of students (educational services consumers). It has been noted that the Chinese government, understanding the complexity of the economic situation in Ukraine in general and the university system in particular is going to make some effort to stimulate the Ukrainian universities to expand the teaching of the Chinese language. Moreover, this work is carried out in various segments (higher educational institutions, where Chinese is taught as the major subject, higher educational institutions, where Chinese is taught as a minor subject; higher educational institutions where the Chinese language is not studied). Further research will be aimed at studying the problems and difficulties of teaching and the organization of learning Chinese language in Ukraine, as well as the reasons for the lack of Chinese language teaching.
