Challenges and Development Barriers of National Consulting Business

The article deals with the development of the main directions of business consulting services, identifies the main factors that influence the functioning of the market of investment consulting services, analyzes the consulting services markets, analyzes the current state of the market and proposes the prospects for the development of the market of management consulting in Ukraine. Applied research methods: abstract-logical method, system and process analysis - during the evaluation of tools, methods of management strategies, as well as in the process of studying world experience in consulting activities; statistical-economic, which allowed carring out an analysis of social and economic development; methods of analysis, synthesis, deduction - to substantiate the appropriateness of approaches to management of consulting companies within the framework of the resource concept. The practical significance of the research results is the possibility of using for the development of consulting business, the relevant new directions and perspectives of the development of the management consulting market in Ukraine. Scientific novelty consists in substantiating the components of the mechanism of qualitative growth of the Ukrainian market of consulting services. Conclusions of this study: the transition of Ukrainian leading companies to the new principles of activities that meet the conditions of the information economy should help to increase the demand for consulting products in the field of development and implementation of information technology, which form the stringent requirements for the organization of an appropriate system of support for management decisions. Perspectives for the further research is to develop tasks for the support and stimulation of domestic consulting business by the state, government and enterprises.
