The modern approaches to the definition of coaching, pedagogical coaching were considered. The peculiarities of the introduction of coaching technologies in the process of training specialists of the psychological and pedagogical sphere in higher education were substantiated. The leading role of the teacher's personality in the process of the implementation of high-quality training of future specialists was emphasized. The transformation of the teacher's goals as a coach was described. It was generalized that coaching technology helps to improve the professional training of future specialists of the psychological and pedagogical sphere.
