Didactic potential of the virtual educational environment and the possibilities of its practical implementation in managerial education

Abstract

This article presents a brief substantiation of the need to create a virtual educational environment for a higher education institution for the organization of independent work of students in managerial education. The purpose is to analyze the scientific achievements in relation to the didactic potential of the virtual learning environment of the educational environment, to substantiate the conceptual ideas and possibilities of its practical implementation in managerial education. The identified benefits of the virtual educational environment consist on flexibility (working with information at a convenient time), cost-effectiveness (reducing the cost of training due to the lack of a need for daily school attendance), modularity (development of module courses that meet the group or individual needs applicants for higher education). The creation of a virtual educational environment is due to the list of mandatory requirements for the level of training future managers. The text defines the virtual educational environment, names its essential features, lists the didactic conditions for its creation, and indicates the role of the teacher in interaction with the students. The didactic potential of technologies of virtual reality is determined by the possibility of their use for the organization of educational process in accordance with a person-oriented educational paradigm. The application of technologies of virtual reality in education allows for the transition from scattered automatic cyclic management to the directed process, to intensify the educational process, to significantly intensify the cognitive activity of higher education graduates through increasing its stimulating component, to create unique opportunities for the formation of independent critical thinking and intellectual development of the individual. The practical significance of the virtual educational space is to indicate the qualitative virtual educational environment of a higher education institution: high technical equipment, stability, information environment, the presence of didactic potential.
