Pre-school labor education as a precondition for their professional self-determination

The article has outlined the problem of labor education of preschoolers and the peculiarities of their work development as a preconditions for professional self-determination; it has been revealed the role of pre-school educational establishments on the formation of children's ideas about different adults' professions, their value and importance in public life. Also it has been described the notion of "labor activity", "labor education", "social significance of work", stages of forming interest to the adults' work. While studying the researches on this problem and experience of work at preschool establishments, it has been discovered that the pedagogical conditions that ensure labor education in preschoolers is the creation of a proper development environment at a preschool educational establishment. Effective forms, methods and techniques to interest children in adults' work can be such as: direct observation of adult work, excursions, conversations, reading of artistic works, stories about various professions, review of paintings, illustrations, a story about parents' professions, demonstration of films and movies, didactic games, playing game situations, the usage of riddles, proverbs, sayings, the participation of children in the work of adults, etc. When organizing various activities it is advisable to consolidate knowledge about different professions, their importance and necessity in people's lives. The educators should also ensure a humane approach to the organization and pedagogical leadership of the pre-schoolers work, to create conditions for the child to be interested in the work of adults, to honor people of different professions, to know their social significance, to try to immit them, so that the fulfillment of labor actions cause the children a sense of pleasure, joy, contribute to the formation of the foundations of their personal culture, development of individual interests, preferences and abilities.
