On the development of intellectual abilities of students in a psychological context and their success in education

Abstract

The article is devoted to the intellectual development of students in the modern school. The relationship between the level of intelligence and success in education is shown. Features of the relationship between the intellectual levels of students and their academic achievements at the moment is one of the most important problems of improving the quality of education. In this regard, psychometric methods for measuring students' intellectual abilities are important. The object of the study is the intellectual education. The subject of the study is communication of intellectual development of pupils and their academic level. The goal is to analyze and define the role of intellectual education in modern school. In the article are used a comparative method, general methods, induction, deduction, analysis and synthesis. The main task of the teacher at school is to create noble feelings in the child's heart, human dignity, humanistic qualities and good intentions. The views and opinions of world educators are broad and varied. As can be seen, the need for intellectual education of children underlies the pedagogical thought of both Western and Eastern educators. Intellect is also the strength of the economy, moral perfection. A constant study of this problem is one of the main goals of the school. The studies that have been carried out in this direction have confirmed the positive correlation between the general intellectual level of students and their success in teaching. Sometimes a low correlation does not allow researchers to unequivocally state that the general intelligence is the result of learning.
