Formation of ecological consciousness of student youth of humanitarian specialties

Abstract
The ecological consciousness of a future specialist has been considered as a component, an integral part of the ecological world outlook. It has been noted that ecological consciousness is formed by logical rethinking of knowledge, their transformation into convictions, which determine the people's value orientations and mind sets, their conscious, responsible attitude to nature. The peculiar features of the process of the person's ecological consciousness formation, after theoretical analysis of the problem, have been empirically investigated. A comparison test “Index of attitude towards health” suggested by Deryabo S.D, Yasvin V.A. has been conducted in the studied groups of "Practical Psychology" and "English philology". A manifestation according to the cognitive scale is typical for philologists, and according to practical scale – for psychologists. The results of the study showed that according to the method "Naturaphil" the most characteristic are indicators according to the scale "Practical" for students of the group "English philology". The practical scale is aimed at diagnostic procedure of the degree of change in the motivation and orientation of practical activity with natural objects, caused by the attitude towards it, which manifest themselves in readiness and desire for non-pragmatic practical interaction with natural objects. The analysis of the results of the conducted study according to the same method for students of the group “Practical Psychology” showed that they have intrinsic manifestations on the scale "Cognitive". As it has been shown by the research that, there are insignificant differences between the study groups, namely, practical scale is characteristic for philologists, and cognitive – for psychologists.
