Abstract

In the article the essence of the concept of linguistically methodical competence of the teacher of elementary school, and is presented its structure has been disclosed. Applying the methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison, etc., the author determines that linguistically methodical competence of the teacher of elementary classes is an integrative unity of the formed subject-specific knowledge, skills and experience of teaching and methodical work, readiness and ability to creatively solve professional tasks that necessary for qualitative design, organization of educational work and implementation of productive process-technological activity in the lessons of Ukrainian language and literary reading. Formation of linguistically methodical competence is a process of acquiring a combination of competencies (language-literary, sociocultural, subject-methodical and technological, activity-oriented, predictive-reflexive, control-evaluation), which allow to successfully carry out professional activity, embody and implement innovative methods for improving the quality of language-literature education in elementary school.
