Abstract
The objective of the present article lies in revealing the peculiarities of university management and the admission campaign in the 60's of the twentieth century in Hungary, taking into account the peculiarities of the socio-political situation in the country. The author notes that the features of the management of higher education institutions in Hungary in the 60's of the twentieth century in general had common features to other European countries, but the aggravation of the socio-political situation in the mid-1960s contributed to the beginning of reforms in the system of higher education management and higher education institutions, namely, on decentralization in the management of higher education institutions, the provision of greater autonomous rights to universities, and taking into account the student's thoughts that we have in Ukraine, unfortunately, started only in 2014. But the authorities retained control over the ideological preparation of young socialist state. Analysis of the peculiarities of the procedure for admission to universities and other types of higher education institutions made it possible to draw conclusions about the close connection between the process of determining the number of places for training with production and employers, since it (number) was determined by the National Planning Bureau; an apprentice who has graduated from the school for more than 2 years and / or worked for the application submitted to the employer, who also provides contact with the labor market and provides certain guarantees for future employment. This aspect is also relevant for our country, because the lack of close communication with employers, the lack of promising statistics on the needs of different specialists, leads to the problem of unemployment, the impossibility of employment in the profession, etc. Also to the so-called «conditional reception” deserves attention, which is relevant for the specialties for which there is a great competition. Also, the use of such a procedure will in some way contribute to improving the quality of the training of specialists, since such entrants have a high level of motivation to study, a conscious choice of future specialty, which is an important factor in successful and high-quality education.
