Factors hindering the development of family psychotherapy

Abstract
The article highlights the factors that hinder the development of modern family psychotherapy. Particular attention is paid to the author, firstly, on the importance of changing his own point of view of the psychologist and his family in accordance with the changing family situations, and secondly, on his ability to refuse linear-causal thinking during the diagnostic and therapeutic work with family. Also, the article deals with the basic problems that complicate the work of a psychologist within the framework of family psychotherapy. In conclusion, the author focuses on the issues that are today most important for the field of psychological activity and activities aimed at the training of family psychologists and psychotherapists.
