Theoretical aspects of the essence of artistic and communicative skills

Abstract
Scientific approaches to the definition of the essence of artistic and communicative skills in the process of artistic interaction of personality with works of art have been considered in the article. In the context of theoretical analysis of the content of concepts «communication», «interaction», «artistic communication» the emphasis is placed on the dialogical nature of art and the dialogical foundations of artistic poly-subject communication. Scientists' generalization of conceptual provisions in relation to the problem of communication in the context of a dialogical approach (H. Andreieva, M. Buber, M. Bakhtin, M. Kahan, (K. Rodgers, R. Jakobson, K. Jaspers) gave us basis to consider its essence through an interaction not only as the process of information exchange and mutual influence of participants on each other, but also as the interaction of interpersonal and internal dialogue that makes it possible to achieve the highest level of sympathy, complicity, empathy and mutual understanding between the subjects of interaction. The features of artistic communication as a process in which creativity, performance, perception is realized as the act of communication have been studied out. Artistic interpretation is considered as artistic and creative activity that includes a perception of the artwork (initial familiarization) – comprehension (creation of one of the product variants of the artist's initial creative activity) and its recreation during the verbal and non-verbal communication with the audience. The main role and the specificity of artistic perception in the system of artistic communication has been pointed out and it allowed to consider the interpretation of artistic communication in the broad sense as the interaction between author-creator (artist) and consumer (recipient) who perceives the author's artistic concept through the artwork; a work of art, the author's image, society, a historical era, artistic process, etc. are the objects of the artistic communication process. So, artistic communication includes perception of artistic product (artwork) as well as awareness of its value, understanding of the historical reality, cultural context, artistic concept and artistic meaning of the artwork. On the basis of theoretical analysis of the essence of artistic communication that has been carried out, the authors suggested to look at artistic and communication skills as the person's integral quality that occurs in the ability to engage in poly-subjective interactive dialogues with works of art and provides active interpersonal communication in the process of the artistic activity. Considering the specific features of the artistic perception in the artistic and communicative interaction ‘artist – artwork – consumer', four groups of the artistic and communicative skills have been distinguished: in the system of artistic interaction ‘Author-Me'; in the system of artistic interaction ‘Work of art-Me', in the system of artistic interaction ‘Me-Me', in the system of artistic interaction ‘Me-Others'.
