Features of training of teachers in Denmark and Norway

Abstract

The article analyzes the structure of the educational system of the Kingdom of Denmark and Norway, identifies the trajectory of future professional training within the national education system, and provides a scientific exploration of the institutional system of vocational education at all levels. The author found that Denmark and Norway's education system guarantees students access to vocational education based on their abilities and interests. Much attention is paid in the process of professional training to the study of future foreign language teachers, which contributes to the development of theirreadiness for the requirements of professional growth at the international level, and the formation of their natural competence. The specific content of future teacher training in the Scandinavian countries, both at the basic and academic levels, is the close interconnection, continuity and integration of all curricula, reorientation from subject to competency approach, application of the modular principle of content blocks structuring. The system of teacher training in Denmark and Norway is characterized by progressive development, high levels of democracy, stability and flexibility, since the personality-oriented, research-oriented and practically-oriented concepts of pedagogical education play a role in the mechanisms, which are different in their system. States attach great importance to lifelong learning, motivating early-life societies. The study and careful analysis of the development of teacher education in the Scandinavian countries, in particular Denmark and Norway, will help to determine the main guidelines for its improvement in Ukraine, because it is the study of the experience of teacher training in developed foreign countries that opens up new opportunities for improving its system of improvement requirements of the pan-European educational space.
