Abstract

The aim of the article is to summarize and compare different approaches to defining the object and subject of research. The result of the study. Natural sciences and humanities have different object of research. The study compares individual characteristics of the object identifying processing relation to its scientific field. The core methodological issue of scientific research is the definition of object and object. The natural sciences and humanities have different views on this process. The natural sciences study the object as a physical body. The humanities are forced to take into account that their subject will be a subject who thinks they have relations with other subjects. The presented scientific research has theoretical and practical importance as it is based on the scientific methodology used in foreign and national scientific traditions. Natural sciences and humanities have different pictures of world. The fundamental difference between these two fields is the process of identifying the study object. Natural sciences analyze the object from physical perspective while humanities take into consideration the object which thinks, interacts and is influenced by others. The humanities object may be named a "human being" and is different from the one investigated by natural sciences.
