Professional pedagogical education in European countries as an object of pedagogical research

Abstract
The article gives an overview of scientific research on the issue of professional education development in European countries. It is emphasized that the modern concept of pedagogical education in the European context is aimed at providing initial basic pedagogical education, formation of the professional activity of a young teacher under the guidance of experienced teachers of the school, which lasts from one to three years, improving the skills of working teachers. It is revealed that the purpose of modern European professional pedagogical education is providing multidisciplinary training of students. In many countries, future teachers are not only allowed, but are encouraged and committed to train from several teachers' specialties at the same time. European professional pedagogical education is characterized by researchers as flexible in qualifications so that the specialist can easily be rebuilt in line with changing requirements and has the opportunity of professional growth.The peculiarity of European education is the close cooperation of the state, private, educational and industrial sectors, the creation of joint projects between universities and enterprises, which allows creating good prospects for employment of students of pedagogical specialties. It is concluded that at the beginning of the XXI century the achievement of European vocational education is consistent with the needs of the modern labor market, state security, accessibility, mass media, science, mobility of the educational process, overcoming of social inequality on the basis of raising the level of education, the formation of the theoretical foundations of such education, multivariate and variability of its forms, the implementation of European and national educational standards, special programs, etc.
