The problem of professional training improvement of psychologists

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the psychological and pedagogical means of improving the professional training of psychologists. The article reveals the problem of professional development psychologist, features of stages of professional development. The system of psychological training should include ideological, professional and personal level, and aim at the formation of professional consciousness, psychological culture and professionally significant personal qualities and to possess appropriate knowledge system, the technology of the practice future psychologist. We presented psychological and pedagogical means of improving the professional training of psychologists: psychological trainings, role and business games, art therapy, debates, round tables, seminars—mutual learning. Highlighted techniques of stimulating creativity of future psychologists: simulation – simulation of a certain kind of psychological activity, playing the roles of various modifications, staging, case study, brainstorming, debates and nonsimulation – problematic lectures, lecture-discussions, seminars—mutual learning. Effective for professional development of psychologists are round tables, film and video demonstration followed their psychological and pedagogical discussion, analysis and reading works of literature, bibliotherapy, videotherapy, psychodrama, creative self-expression therapy and art therapy, psychological games, discussion and analysis of individual and group counseling and psychotherapy sessions with the decision of psychological problems. The article emphasizes the role of different types of extracurricular work in professional and personal development of future psychologists. We recommend the following types of extracurricular work as problem groups, academic circles, psychological clubs, volunteer activities. The article gives overview of psycho-pedagogical conditions of effective professional training of psychologists, that provide a combination of developmental external factors with internal desire future psychologist to personal growth.
