Socially responsible business behavior: the essence and forming conditions in Ukraine

The essence of business social responsibility is considered. The need of governmental enforcement of legislative bases and institutional mechanisms of the implementation of social responsibility in the economic practice is pointed out. The tendencies and contradictions of the formation of civil society in our country are considered. It is proved that the efficiency of interaction between government, business and civil society in Ukraine depends on the quality of institutional reforms and society's ability to change the stereotypes of behavior of economic agents.
