Digital economy as a factor of improving the quality of labor potential

Abstract
The paper assesses the impact of the digital economy on the labor potential quality. In particular, the analysis of changes in the nature of labor and forms of labor activity, requirements for professional skills and abilities has been carried out. The advantages of digital employment have been determined, global trends in the labor market caused by the digitalization of the economy have been highlighted. Two key scenarios for the development of labor potential have been offered: the optimistic one, which involves improving the laborpotential quality through the introduction of new technologies, and the pessimistic one, according to which digitalization has a negative impact on labor potential, meaning the complete replacement of human labor with machines and technologies.
