Abstract
“Selebration”, one of the most recent examples of dramatic work by British playwright Harold Pinter, explores the morality of key figures in government. It would be right to say that the topic of power and the power of money has been chewed, but this topic becomes an object of research, because the original approach of the Jewish writer to the problem and his various descriptions attract our attention. Shows the abilities of the author, who acts as an expert in human psychology. We make it clear that the power of those who rule the world with money does not mean that they have high morals, respect, and love. The fact that absurd reality consists of false impressions, that lying becomes the main feature, and the consequences of psychological abuse are also the main points raised by the study. The play will explore issues such as the division of people into classes, the mediation of violence by the ruling ideology, the establishment of hegemony in the political and psychological spheres, the relative nature of lies and truth, and the reflection of absurdism and postmodernism. As a result, Pinter interestingly presents the struggles of beliefs and the struggles of spiritual relationships. The importance of finding solutions to the problem of spiritual cleansing testifies to the relevance of the playwright's work
