Abstract

The article highlights the results of the study of the responsibility of social services specialists as an indicator of their professional activity, which determines their conscious and responsible activities in the context of providing social services to the population, contributes to the effective exercise of targeted activities in providing social services to various categories. The results of an empirical study of the features of responsibility in the professional activities of social services specialists, their attitude to the provision of social services as information value and willingness to be responsible for its results, as well as the impact on professional activities, which contributes to their psychological safety and psychological safety of other members of social services. Insufficient level of both responsibility and the formation of understanding in a significant part of the respondents regarding the nature and role of the phenomenon of responsibility, attitude to professional activity, a sense of pride in belonging to socially responsible service, etc. Gender differences in the manifestations of responsibility of social services specialists depending on gender were characterized, according to which female respondents were somewhat more responsible for the consequences of dissemination of information than male specialists. The expediency of promoting the development of responsibility of social service specialists as an indicator of their professional activity, which can be provided in specially organized psychological training, is stated
