Abstract
The Indian weavers, dyers, printers, and embroiderers have mastered the art of indigenous play of their hands in creating masterpieces of textile items. The craft of Dhurrie making in Warangal a town from T elangana state, India is one such handwoven expertise that has gained significant relevance in the field of woven Indian traditions. The study was formulated within an ethnographic framework coupled with an exploratory approach to explore the possibility of the durrie being applied as an apparel fabric.
