PHYSICAL TRAINING AS A MEANS OF DEVELOPING PHYSICAL AND VOLITIONAL QUALITIES IN CHILDREN OF PRIMARY SCHOOL AGE

Abstract
The work is devoted to the search for opportunities for developing physical and volitional qualities in children of primary school age by means of physical education and sports. General secondary education institutions are looking for effective ways to educate physically and psychologically healthy generation, ready to take an active part in the development of an independent state governed by the rule of law. Maintaining and strengthening the health of schoolchildren, starting from the primary level, is one of the main tasks of physical education. The solution of this issue is to increase the quality and quantity of physical activity of primary school children, which is implemented in physical education classes and extracurricular activities in the form of specially organized and independent classes for children, which increases the level of willpower, physical fitness and physical development of primary school children. The aim of the study is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions for developing physical and volitional qualities in children of primary school age in the process of physical training. Complex models of selective direction depending on the age of children and program material on physical culture were developed, which made it possible to use a combined method of developing physical and volitional qualities. Physical exercises, moving games and relay games had a positive effect on the emotional state of primary school children and increased the level of development of physical and volitional qualities. The results of the pedagogical experiment confirm the effectiveness of a comprehensive model of developing physical and volitional qualities of primary school children and can be used in the process of training of future physical education teachers.
