Abstract
Automobile industry is one of the largest industries which provides larger employment opportunities and also earns a remarkable rate of foreign exchange. Since the industry is largely based upon the effective use of HR in work process. The management of leading automobile industries are essentially followed some important training programme to its employees in a well phased manner. Hence the training programme are incorporated new ideas and dimensions of production by acquiring new knowledge and skill and thus by way of utilizing their workforce in a productive manner. In any time of industries, these programmes are mainly implemented not only to increase the production possibilities but also utilize their workforce in an efficient manner with some tactical and skillful manner. These programmes also help the human resources to understand the new techniques and means of production by the updated sophisticated technology. In India, automobile industries like TATA, Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan, Honda, Volkswagen, Mahindra, Maruti and some foreign companies organized certain training programme to its employees in a periodical manner. The main purpose of organizing these programmes is mainly to enhance the capability level and skill set. The evaluation techniques to assess the performance of employees are measured and then only their workforce can be judged in a comparative manner. In this paper, the researcher mainly dealt the importance of training programmes and their effectiveness of workforce by these courses followed in Indian Automobile sector in a detailed manner
