Abstract
Heat exchangers are used for exchanging thermal energy in between two fluids. Many studies are going on increase the efficiency and thermal properties of heat exchangers. To harvest solar energy heat exchangers play a major role. In this study, we compare two different roughnesses in the heat exchanger. One is having a boot shape and the other geometry has boot-type roughness in the reverse direction. In this study we take parameters of different geometry with varying angle-angle varying from 30 to 60º, roughness in the heat exchanger duct affects heat transfer rate also affects the efficiency of the heat exchanger
