Abstract
The recent surge in adoption of computational resources to derive economical gain has led to a curious integration of multiple disciplines. One such discipline is the area of human resource management which is integrated with analytics based tools. Although the grey area has existed for long, its adoption with recent technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, machine learning, virtualization etc. has increased the scope of using these tools. In this work, we provide a comprehensive review for some of the leading HR based analytics tools. We also discuss the issues in adoption faced by different stakeholders. Lastly, we conclude our work by pointing out the future research directions for the same.
