Abstract
Computer Vision is a branch of Artificial Intelligence that teaches robots how to see. Its goals in terms of biological science are to develop theoretical representations of the human visual system. From an engineering standpoint, machine vision seeks to create self-contained structures that can handle some of the functions that the human visual system can (and even surpass it in many cases). We're seeing an increase of curiosity in how computers perceive and how computer vision can be used to create customer and company goods. Amazon Go, Google Lens, Autonomous Vehicles, and Face Recognition are only a few examples of those technologies. Computer vision seeks to comprehend the content of visual pictures. Typically, this entails the development of methods that aim to replicate human vision. The aim of this paper is to provide a concise overview of the data science approach used in computer vision.
