Abstract
This paper attempts to integrate the power transducers' reliability model into the reliability study of the power grid. The efficiency of the converter was investigated extensively according to fault analysis physics in unit-and converter stages. But the system stability of electronic devices requires optimum decision-making for preparation, operation and repair of electrical converters. This essay therefore suggests a process for assessing the efficiency of electronic control systems from the computer to the system level. Moreover, the effect on energy system efficiency in various systems, such as wind turbine and electrical transmission lines of converter failures, including spontaneous chance and wear-out failures is demonstrated. This paper also discusses the needed precision for the reliability simulation of converters in various applications, given the heavy measurement pressure imposed by the physics of failure analyses for large-scale electronic power systems.
