Developmental delay is a non progressive disorder pertaining to the motor areas of the central nervous system. Children suffering from such condition have delayed motor milestones and other systems will be normal. Present case study was aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of combining Ayurveda and Physiotherapy in treating motor developmental delay. Functional independence measure scale and Barthal index were used to analyse the outcomes. The subject aged 9 years and three months, female was admitted with diagnosis as Motor developmental delay. She was assessed using Ayurvedic and physiotherapeutic angles. Two scales were employed before and after three sets of intervention spanning over a period of 9 months. This study concludes that motor developmental delay can be treated successfully when an integrated approach is adopted.
