Development is considered to be essential for a nation or region to obtain economic efficiency. Use of natural resource is necessary for process of development, but it must not compromise the security of present and future generation. Environmental degradation is the price paid for human development. The present mode of development threatens societies both in the present and as well as future. Environmental resources are being openly destroyed on a colossal scale in search for endless economic growth.
