Abstract
The notion of Indian national integration has been threatened time and again in Kashmir. AFSPA is said to be a great hurdle in the process of national integration. The objective of this paper is to point out the drawbacks of AFSPA in the Kashmir valley. Efforts are made to discuss the forbidding obstacles prevailing due to AFSPA and to avail a solution to overcome the bloodshed by this draconian law that will help in building a strong sense of national integration in the valley of Kashmir.
