Relatively recently, a professionally perfected textbook on the syntax of the Ukrainian language was published. This edition covers the field of syntactics works published in different years by famous Ukrainian linguists. The articles contained in it cover the history, theory and practice of considering the communicative nature of the sentence (simple, complex, complex), grammatical status and typology of phrases - traditionally distinguished lower-ranking syntactic unit in relation to a sentence - as well as the description of sentence categories, syntactic stylistics and modern textology. The appearance of this textbook is necessary at least because such materials already exist almost inaccessible to students, as their publication at the time was single and specialized in low-volume linguistic periodicals publications.
