INTERDISCIPLINARY LINKS IN THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE SOCIAL WORKERS

Abstract
Introduction. One of the key reasons that actualize the issue of interdisciplinary links is the complication of economic and social problems and the need to radically update the methodological tools of professional activity. In particular, it's more relevant for such professional areas that characterize by conditions uncertainty, require the application of knowledge from various subject fields, and make special demands on the integrative qualities of the specialist's personality. The purpose of the article is to reveal the essence, functions, types and specifics of interdisciplinary links implementation in the professional training process of future social workers. Methods. The study investigates this issue by analysis, synthesis, classification, the conceptualization of advanced pedagogical experience, content analysis of educational and professional programs and learning content, as well as the leading forms and methods of teaching and studying the professional knowledge on the basis of the interdisciplinary approach. Results. An interpretation of the essence of interdisciplinary links has been given. It has been established that interdisciplinary links are a process and result of reflection in the content of educational components of those dialectical interrelations that can be seen in society and professional activity, as well as those aspects that consider the range of problems of modern sciences about human and ways of his/her life activity and functioning. Methodological, educational, developmental, educative and constructive functions in the process of their introduction have been characterized; the semantic characteristic has been given; the specificity of cross-disciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary levels of interdisciplinary links implementation in students' study and professional activity has been defined. Originality. The existing classifications and typologies of interdisciplinary links taking into account the specifics of future social workers' professional training have been shown. The role of methods,techniques, technologies and forms of organization of students' educational activities of the interdisciplinary level in the formation of a multifunctional, professionally mobile and competitive specialist in the social work field has been revealed. Conclusion. The interdisciplinary linkage's introduction opens new perspectives for a timely and adequate response to current economic, managerial, and social demands; it allows achieving a synergistic effect for interdisciplinary interactions in the professional training of social workers with higher education levels. Prospects for further research are the development of new transdisciplinary educational and professional programs for students training in the social work area.
