The aim of the study was to study the possibilities of using sections of sports and pedagogical improvement in martial arts in the preparation of future physical education teachers to work with the younger generation. Methods. A pedagogical experiment was organized, which was attended by students of the group of sports and pedagogical improvement in wrestling Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University in the number of 12 people who created three groups. Note that only novice athletes participated in the pedagogical experiment. Athletes-dischargers, including masters of sports, did not participate in the pedagogical experiment. Results. The criterion for the effectiveness of pedagogical experiment was indicators of the quality of reception. The effectiveness of visualization was judged by the number of approaches to the partner, performed correctly and with errors in reception techniques. Preliminary analysis of the results of the pedagogical experiment showed the following: the first group of athletes who trained in the gym according to the generally accepted program of sports and pedagogical improvement in judo improved the results of control indicators by 9-12 percent. Originality. The study has confirmed the effectiveness of the use of visualization in the work of student sections in martial arts and the possibility of using the results of research in practical work with the younger generation. Conclusion. Analysis of the results of the pedagogical experiment showed the following: the first group of athletes who trained in the gym according to the generally accepted program of sports and pedagogical improvement in judo improved the results of benchmarks by 9-12 percent. The students of the second group, who were engaged only in visualization, although there were some positive changes in the results of the studied indicators, but they did not have statistical reliability when comparing digital measurements. In the third group, where students combined the visualization of throws with the practical work of sports training, a statistically significant improvement in control indicators was 19 percent. Thus, the previous encouraging results of the pedagogical experiment stimulate the specialists of the department to further study the application of visualization in sports practice and further openness in cooperation.
