The practice of using algorithms on the example of solving numerical problems

The article discusses the possibilities and advantages of a two-stage approach to the study of the Numerical Methods section in a higher educational institution. The development and implementation of algorithms for solving computational problems at the first stage makes it possible to consciously apply numerical methods using application packages at the next stage. Understanding the algorithm in solving problems, in the particular case of numerical methods, is an important component of the entire computational process.
