Abstract
The relevance of this topic is due to the fact that currently one of the serious problems is the addictive behavior of convicts. This behavior is characterized by the desire to escape from reality through substances that change the mental state. The article deals with the problems of addictive behavior of convicts. The psychological characteristics of the convicts of this group are analyzed.
