Abstract

The article analyzes the key standards in the field of collective political rights and human rights and citizen in modern Ukraine. International legal acts on human rights, in particular, generally accepted norms and principles of international law, current legislation of Ukraine, which regulates the status of the individual in society, have been studied. The author also notes that the international legal standards in the field of collective political rights and freedoms are the guidelines that a country should be guided by when adopting a constitution or other acts that enshrine such rights and freedoms. It is defined as the need to amend Part 1 of Article 36 of the Constitution of Ukraine as follows: everyone has the right to freedom of association to exercise and protect rights and freedoms and to satisfy political, economic, social, cultural and other interests, except for restrictions established by law. in the interests of national security and public order, protection of public health or protection of the rights and freedoms of others; in part 1 of Article 39 of the Basic Law, in particular, as follows: persons staying in Ukraine legally have the right to assemble peacefully, without weapons and to hold meetings, rallies, marches and demonstrations, which are notified in advance by the executive or local governments.
