Abstract
The article is devoted to the use of reserve requirements as a tool of monetary policy, which is one of the most common issues in scientific literature and the cause of many debates. This tool of regulation along with other macroeconomic policies had evolutionary development. In countries where no backup mechanism adapted to modern conditions, the problems such as limited monetary policy, high inflation in low monetization of the economy are most important. The authors of the article studying global trends of changes in the reserve requirement have analyzed its usage in Uzbekistan and as results of the research given measures to improve it.
