LEGAL COMPETENCE SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMIC COLLEGES TEACHING STAFF

Abstract

Introduction. The effectiveness and quality of professional and legal training of future economists in the college directly depends on the level of legal competence of teachers involved in educational and professional programs. However, methodical work aimed at improving the teachers' legal literacy, developing their ability to productively apply methods of students' mastering modern legal knowledge, forms of legal education is carried out sporadically, without proper systematic. Methods. The methods of analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, comparison, as well as critical analysis of literature sources were used. Purpose. The article is aimed at working out and theoretically substantiating the system of developing legal competence of economic colleges teaching staff. Results. The article analyzes different scientists' approaches to defining the concepts «system», «pedagogical system», «methodological system» and their structural components. It is noted that «system» is a structure that combines located in some way components, distinguished by some common feature. Common in interpreting the concept «pedagogical system» by scientists is that it is the generic category of pedagogical science, which reflects the essence of various pedagogical phenomena and has certain structure. Such features of the system as presence of components, their diversity, certain structure, integration, identification, hierarchy, functionality, stability, purposefulness, communicative heredity, controllability are singled out. «Methodical system» is defined as a structure, which components are the goals, content, methods, forms and means of teaching. Originality. The methodical system of developing legal competence of economic colleges teaching staff as a part of methodical system of higher level, which is the advanced training of pedagogical staff that, in turn, is a component of mega-system  pedagogical system of training specialists in economic college, was designed. Conclusion. The existing (five-component) classical structure of the methodical system has been modernized by introducing the component «digital technologies» into its structure, as they significantly change, modernize, improve the components of the methodical system, give them other semantic and functional properties. It is proved that none of the components considered above can function without digital technologies.
