FSEK Kapsamında Fotoğrafın Korunmasının Yargıtay Kararları Çerçevesinde İncelenmesi

Photography is the physical and chemical process that detects visible material assets and shapes on any object by the help of light and chemicals. Advances in technology have made it easier to take photos lately and photos have become an integral part of our daily lives. That is why regulations which is about protection of photos, have become more important. There are many sentence in the law about protection of photographs which are included in law of intellectual and artistic works law no 5846, personal data protection law no 6698, Turkish civil law no 4721 and Turkish Penal Code law no 5237. There are protective laws about not only photographs that are artifacts but also that are non-artifacts in the law of intellectual and artistic works. Photos that have the qualıty of work are protected ın the category of scıence and lıterature and fıne works of art. It is a subject of study that how these protected laws are evaluated in supreme court decisions.
