Abstract

This article presents research on spin-off businesses and policies to support this business development for the core mission: Commercialization of technology from universities in some countries around the world. On the basis of an overview of published academic studies and development experiences of countries, the article presents issues of concern about the Government's policy role in developing these businesses to promote the commercialization of technology from parent institutions that are universities in the knowledge economy. From the policy lessons of some countries around the world, it helps to see more deeply the problems posed in Vietnam in the context of promoting comprehensive autonomy for schools in order to renovate the organization, encourage entrepreneurship and promote entrepreneurship promoting commercialization is an urgent issue
