SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL AND TOURIST TERRITORIES IN THE MODERN CONDITIONS

The article examines the features of socio-economic development of rural and tourist areas in modern conditions and shows the main methods of infrastructure development of facilities belonging to these areas. Legislation regulating socio — economic development and activities in rural and tourist areas in Ukraine is indicated. The essence of the concepts of rural and tourist areas, socio-economic development of the territory is revealed. The need to improve the methods of infrastructure development and facilities belonging to rural and tourist areas is substantiated. It is concluded that an important issue is the need to improve methods and processes of control over the development of territories. Methods of socio-economic development of territories such as the method of dissemination of information about rural and tourist areas, the method of selection of cost-effective facilities and infrastructure and the method of initiative for the development of infrastructure of rural and tourist areas are proposed. The opinion is expressed that landowners need to be ready for changes in the legislation, which will have a positive impact on the revival of activities and infrastructure development of rural and tourist areas.
