Abstract
The nationalization of the oil industry in Iran has been one of the demands of the members of the National Assembly since the establishment of the constitutional government in Iran. This demand was expressed in various assemblies before the nationalization of the oil industry, which was met with opposition, and one of the opponents was Mohammad Mossadegh. The purpose of this article is to analyze the role of the US government in guiding and supporting Mossadegh and the National Front in ousting and expelling the British from the Iranian oil industry and how global oil companies and cartels entered the Iranian oil industry and what factors led to from an opponent of the nationalization of the oil industry, Mossadegh will become a defender and leader of this movement. Accordingly, the present article uses analytical-descriptive method and relying on library and electronic resources while examining the causes of nationalization of Iran's oil industry and how the United States guides and supports the nationalization of Iran's oil industry. The findings show that Mossadegh was initially one of the opponents of the plan to nationalize Iran's oil industry, but with the US entering the scene and wanting to participate in Iran's oil industry, Mossadegh joined the process of nationalizing the oil industry and all his actions in the first time Waziri was coordinated and supported by the US government, and in the end, after the US government became disillusioned with him, he was overthrown with the help of the British government, and US oil companies entered Iran.
