Abstract
Enzymes shows the importance of metabolism and have the fundamental existence of life. They are also considered eco-friendly chemicals that may help replace completely the usage of dangerous chemicals, thus promising better production and manufacturing. Among different enzymes, proteases control the enzyme market in the world by their application potential in various bioindustries like food, textile, pharmaceutical, leather, biofilm removal, and detergent. Nowadays protease has also been used enough in the bioremediation process, where this enzyme plays a major role in the biodegradation of pollutants, they are eco-friendly, and show stability and high robustness over a wide range of applications. The current review attempts to provide interpretive updated information on the recent strategies involved in the bioremediation process that could help to overcome the limitations of its effective use that could benefit the ecosystem
