A DIGNIDADE DO CADÁVER DESCONHECIDO ENQUANTO MATERIAL DE ESTUDO DA ANATOMIA HUMANA

This study alludes to the unique and irreplaceable material for studying the Anatomical Sciences: the cadaver. In particular, the treatment given to this lifeless body will be discussed, taking into account its indigent condition. The objective of this research is to provide a reflection on the dignity of cadavers used in anatomical centers as an experimental model. Therefore, the research model carried out consists of a Literature Review. At the end of this study, it is concluded that the indigent corpse, which in life was probably invisible, today contributes to society in the training of new health professionals and because of this role becomes more dignified than perhaps it ever managed to be, thus demonstrating the its value and deserving the highest degree of respect.
