Abstract
Due to increasing energy demand and expansion of renewable energy sources controlling of microgrid operations has become more significant in present electricity market. Its increased popularity might cause issues related to power quality which in turn results in increase of losses. Therefore, a customized power device is developed which connected in parallel with Photo-vatic system and that utilization as a source for BESS is discussed in proposed concept. The device is designed to provide a restore voltage continuous to load and stabilized power supply of the system. The dynamic performance of inter-connected micro-grid system is evaluated for various issues such as voltage dip, harmonics, and interruption. Using Matlab-Simulink PV based DVR system is developed and results are observed for power quality events.
